Experimental Features is an environment-level flag that enables all current experimental features in that environment. Experimental features are early-access capabilities that may change, move to Beta, or be removed entirely.

Video: Experimental Features

How it works

When enabled for an environment:
  • All experimental features currently available to your workspace become available in that environment.
  • Experimental features can show up as:
    • A dedicated page/tab in the left navigation, and/or
    • A feature inside another area (for example, an Agent Skill)
When disabled:
  • Experimental-only features in that environment are hidden or unavailable.

Lifecycle: Experimental → Beta (or removed)

Experimental features are not guaranteed to stay.
  • Some features will be improved and promoted to Beta.
  • Some may be changed significantly or removed.
  • New experimental features may be added regularly.

Enable Experimental Features (admin only)

Only admins can enable or disable experimental features.
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Open Environments.
  3. Select the environment you want to edit.
  4. Toggle Enable Experimental Features.
  5. Click Save Environment to apply.
Changes apply after you save the environment.

Best practices

  • Enable in a dev/sandbox environment first if you have one.
  • Validate your key flows (calls, campaigns, integrations) after enabling.
  • If you run into unexpected behavior, disable the flag and click Save Environment.
